Mastercook Jonas Haegeman grew up in the family restaurant and helped in the kitchen from an early age. This is how his interest in gastronomy grew.

Initially he wanted to become an architect or graphic designer, but he soon found that he could also indulge himself creatively in cooking.

Step by step he took over the kitchen and started cooking more gastronomically. Now he is at the stove with his sister Laurence. They are two opposites that complement each other perfectly.

The cuisine of "De Vijf Seizoenen" is creative with everything that grows and blooms as the starting point: pure, light and refined with a preference for local seasonal products.

Restaurant De Vijf Seizoenen" (The Five Seasons) is one of the best vegetable restaurants in Belgium and figures in the top 100 in the world.
