Mastercook David Schulz, philosopher, psychologist and musician in a previous life, started as an autodidact and went through the necessary training courses at both small and large houses for several years.

In L'air de Sens, housed in a building from 1900 in the historic city center of Zoutleeuw, he presents a creative light contemporary kitchen inspired by the seasons and nature for a maximum of 16 place settings. Traditional dishes are given a different shape or accent in which a smell, a taste, a feeling, a memory or an encounter form the common thread. New techniques and insights sometimes help to sharpen these accents, play with textures or capture flavors even better.
