Chez Bernard is known in Salvador for its gastronomic dinner tradition, excellent service and an enchanting view of Baía de Todos os Santos.
This restaurant is the definition of classic French fine dining, from the menu to the décor. Opened in 1963 by Chef Bernard Goethals, this is the oldest restaurant offering French cuisine in Salvador. The current chef is Mastercook Laurent Rezette, a Belgian who has lived in Salvador for over 20 years and has worked in many upscale restaurants.
