De Pastorie

The old rectory is a true hub of this charming village and literally stands gleaming in the shadow of a centuries-old and magnificent trumpet tree. Where a priest once lived, there is now a stylish and atmospheric gastronomic starred restaurant "De Pastorie".

Surrounding the building is a beautifully maintained garden with a magnificent terrace that was chosen by Gault-Millau as the most beautiful in Belgium. In fine weather, dining here is exceptionally pleasant, an extra dimension to this hospitable restaurant.

Chef Mastercook Carl Wens's cuisine is a harmonious balance between classical and experimental with here and there a subtle touch of the exotic. Here you get special creative dishes, from a generous tasting board to the tempting dessert.
