Young Master Barend Oostdijk grew up surrounded by crates and aromas in his father's vegetable shop, where a passion for fresh, quality produce was instilled in him from an early age. He took his first steps in the kitchen as a dishwasher and kitchen assistant on weekends, a spark that led him to culinary school. He then embarked on a journey through some of the most demanding kitchens at home and abroad, including the three-star restaurant LaSarte, the two-star restaurant Sea Grill, and the one-star restaurant Alkimea. In October 2017, he deliberately chose his own path and his own concept.

Barend Oostdijk brings fine dining to you. His concept of private dining and events is entirely centered on the guest: he comes to you, to your home, your space, or a location of your choice, and brings a gastronomic experience of the highest level. Discretion and attention are paramount. Barend personally serves his guests at the table and adds the finishing touches to his dishes on the spot, making every dinner an intimate and unforgettable moment.

The Experience Menu, for groups of 8 to 16 people, is a journey through balanced flavors and seasonal top-quality ingredients: from clams with sour cream and langoustine prepared two ways to veal with sweetbreads and cauliflower. For larger events, weddings, or corporate functions up to 200 guests, Barend offers a Discovery Menu, in the format of a seated dinner, reception, or walking dinner. Each course tells a story that begins at its origin.
