Mastercook Willem Hiele cooks in his eponymous Restaurant to the rhythm of the sea, nourished by the whims of nature, the character of the region, and the rich offerings of local farmers and fishermen.

Restaurant Willem Hiele is housed in an architectural masterpiece, nestled in the heart of the historic polders of De Keignaert, a natural area of meadows, creeks, and fields, just a stone's throw from vibrant Ostend.

Along a tree-lined road flanked by poplars, an architectural gem suddenly emerges, subtly tucked away in the landscape. The brutalist building, once designed as a private residence by Belgian artist-architect Jacques Moeschal, slowly reveals its distinctive charm. Today it is a gastronomic experience restaurant with stylish guest rooms.
