L’air de Sens

Mastercook David Schulz, philosopher, psychologist and musician in a former life, started as a self-taught chef and underwent the necessary training over several years at both small and large establishments.

At L'air de Sens, housed in a building from 1900 in the historic city center of Zoutleeuw, he presents creative contemporary light cuisine for a maximum of 16 covers, inspired by the seasons and nature. Traditional dishes are given a different form or accent where a scent, a taste, a feeling, a memory or an encounter form the common thread. New techniques and insights sometimes help to sharpen these accents, play with textures or capture flavors even better.
